The Debt Carnival
Today you see plenty of offers for help consolidating debt. The nonprofit debt consolidation companies negotiate agreements with your debtors and then divvy up your new consolidated monthly payment to each company you owe. Almost sounding like side show carnival barkers, you can hear them saying, “Come and see the greatest debt restructuring show on earth!”
Of course, they forget to tell you that it will still take years and years to pay off those credit cards and other qualifying debt even when they manage to get the interest lowered. That’s because you pay a lower monthly payment, but they take a fee out of every payment meaning your whole payment is not applied to your debt. So you still face years struggling to finally get out of debt.
When you have an annuity or structured settlement, you can leave the sideshow and join the big top! When you sell annuity or structured settlement payments, you are able to obtain just the amount you need to get out of debt. You don’t end up still owing for years, because you are not taking out new debt to pay old debt.
So don’t let those debt “clowns” lure you in with their painted faces. You can get cash for settlement payments and begin enjoying life debt free.
