Blogs today may be used to replace newspapers, traditional websites, editorials, company updates, and newsletters from CEO’s.

How did Blogs Become so Popular?
There is more than one reason that blogs have become so popular. One reason is blogs are simple to create and manage. You don’t have to know how to speak html or any other programming languages. You can get a free blog, and be live on the web in just a few minutes. (Blogger.com)
Blogs allow people to express themselves, their views, their rants, and their knowledge, for the world to benefit from. Blogs are popular for the same reasons anything is popular. The material could be provocative, entertaining, or educational but it takes people enjoying the blog to make it popular. People must talk about or share the blog for it to be popular. Anyone who writes an interesting blog and promotes it well can be popular. Bloggers who might not have made it in newspaper or television are stars on the web.
