Using Resources Wisely Series Part 4- What am I grateful for today?

Our attitude is our greatest resource. Attitudes drive behavior. We always have a choice as to what attitude to adopt. “An attitude of gratitude will transform everyday disappointments and frustrations”, according to Melody Beattie, best selling author. From her book Gratitude, “a sense of gratitude provides valuable perspective when facing problems and inspires thankfulness even when we don’t feel grateful.” Today’s high gas prices are creating an environment of worry and need. Staying centered in our thankfulness is more important than ever.
And today I am grateful for lower gas prices. Yes you heard me right. According to www.fuelmeup.com on July 14th oil prices dropped 4.4% which is the sharpest single day price drop in 17 years. I have noticed a steady drop at the pump in the last two weeks. *Yee Haw round ‘em up Doggy. *That’s what I’m Talkin about. *Sounds good to me. *It’s a good start! I am breathing a sigh of gratitude for some financial relief, even if it is minor.
Here at PPI we are grateful for the opportunity to help clients resolve unplanned, immediate financial needs by providing cash for their structured settlement.
You may have a greater need for financial relief than a few pennies at the pump. You can examine your options without obligation. You can turn your future structured settlement payments into the cash you need for your life right now.
So when you start to feel anxiety about all the challenges of the day, ask yourself: “What am I grateful for today?” Remember: It is not what happens to you, it is how you react to what happens to you. React with gratitude; “it unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.” Melody Beattie
Gas Saving Tip for the Week: According to the official gas spotters at http://www.fuelmeup.com/you have to be aware when paying for gas with a credit card. The price per gallon advertised rate may be the ‘cash’ rate and not what they are charging for credit. If you pay with a credit card make sure the price on the pump is not increased.
