Use Resources Wisely Series- Part 1

Theodore Roosevelt

“Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.”

This is one of my favorite sayings. I live by it. To me it means to always use the resources you have around you. It means do what you can up to the point you run out of time, money or avenues, then move onto the next thing that you can effect and so on. When you run out of resources on the second project, move on to a third. By the time resources have run out on the third, you can go back to the first thing where the resources may have come available again. And on and on it goes. As a single mother, I have nearly perfected this philosophy. Consequently I can get a lot done with limited resources.

This is a philosophy of self discipline combined with an unstoppable attitude. I had times where I was discouraged and yet I stayed mightily determined to move forward no matter what. Sometimes, it seemed to be the only way I could make anything happen in my world.

Part of making the best of every situation is understanding this is a temporary condition, not as permanent as it feels right now. I tell myself, ” Do not take things like this personally”. One of the most challenging areas of life to keep this attitude is in the area of finances,

Are you in debt? Dealing with money issues or limited resources?

Remember, we are doing what we can with what we have where we are? There are plenty of things you can do to help yourself.

  • Pay down your high interest debts.
  • Clean up your credit.
  • Learn to budget what you DO have.

Your money is a powerful resource. Each choice you make is part of your bigger picture. Each choice is forming your future. Set out to do the best you can in every moment. Eventually these moments add up to your bigger goals. Doing what you can, with what you have, where you are, requires being consistent, persistent and determined.

And if you are waiting on payments from a structured settlement, lottery winnings, annuity, note agreement, then you can put those resources to work for you now by obtaining a lump sum of cash. Contact Prosperity Partners for more information
