Use Resource Wisely Series- Part 3 (Quit Complaining, Be Creative!)

My new motto is: “Quit Complaining, Be Creative!” Complaining attracts more complainers. People don’t like to help ungrateful people. I know am willing to give more of my assistance to someone who gives me a big smile and a thank you.
Being angry has its place and expressing frustration can be healthy. Complaining, however, is not solution oriented, it is “FEEL SORRY FOR ME” oriented. I have seen people who complain as a way of life. This attitude is destructive, produces more dissatisfaction and breaks down momentum. Always remember, your attitude is your greatest resource!
Did you ever hear the stories about those people who have money, lose it and earn it back no big deal? They think money! They don’t criticize; they just make new plans. Their minds say, “What can I do with what I have, where I am right now?” Now, this is being creative!
Being creative is the alternative to complaining. Being creative is the opposite of complaining. You cannot be creative and complain at the same time. Sorry, it just doesn’t work that way.
Synonyms for creative at www.dictionary.com are clever, innovative, productive, artistic, inventive, ingenious. The last time you were listening to someone fuss and crab were you thinking “How innovative!”? Me neither!
I have heard recently here at Prosperity Partners that it is more common than you think to find lottery winners who have won multiple times. What? It is mind boggling to me to win even once! These multiple winner’s minds say, “I am going to win the lottery!” This is a fact to them just as “Today is an awful day.” is a fact to the complainer.
So how can I enjoy my day even when the a/c in my car is not working and my back hurts? I personally ask the question, “What am I grateful for today?” It lightens my mood and resets my perspective.
