Must I List My Annuity as Income?
If applying for a government health insurance program for my child must I list my personal injury lawsuit annuity as income ?
Now that is an excellent question for an attorney! The answer may vary by state and circumstance.
Me personally, I would disclose it. I’d hate for that to come up somewhere down the road and cost me a lot more.
There is a lot to be said for getting expert advice, and making the best possible choices up front.
It also makes sense to set a time frame for choosing, don’t let things sit around waiting for you to act on them.
