A check in the mail
Your Question:
received letter and check, can i cash it
Our answer:
No idea. We don’t usually send out checks with 3 exceptions.
1-You are a customer and requested a check instead of a wire transfer…then yes.
2-You recieved or kept some old mail. We used to send out “check mailers” because they were a great marketing tool.
3-You are a lottery customer. We very rarely send out a check but when we do it is a cashable $250 check. This is essentially a payment to lottery customers for the rights to be the company to pay them an advance if/when they choose to seek an advance.
Our competitors are often sending out check mailers. We have moved past that method since we decided as a company that check mailers did not represent our company well as they could be viewed as a deception. We have no intention of misleading anyone.
What we do is pretty straightforward. Need an advance on your future payments? Do you have a structured settlement? Contact us.
